Mimi Diaz is a lifelong innovator in education and educational leadership. Serving as Director of Sustainable Leadership through Innovation LLC, her "out of the box," education and leadership spans over 40 years. She began as a student at the Center for Self-Directed Learning, in Winnetka, IL. There, Mimi forged her love for project based, student directed learning and a first of it’s kind, shared leadership model. She was instrumental in designing and implementing a highly successful, distributed leadership approach to the Denver Green School. She has worked as a teacher, instructional coach, RTI coordinator, and principal. She currently serves as an adjunct professor at University of Northern Colorado, Center for Urban Education and in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at the University of Denver.
Craig Harrer is Co-Director and founder of SEEd LLC, providing sustainable solutions for school districts and leadership teams. A champion for change in the field of education, Craig’s passion is the implementation of shared leadership structures that create socially just and sustainable school leadership teams. He helped develop and run the Denver Green School, an innovation school in Denver, Colorado with a partnership model of governance. As a consultant he collaborated with Denver Public Schools to create new leadership competencies and implement growth and guidance systems. His is currently pursuing his doctoral degree in the Educational Leadership and Policy Studies program at the University of Denver. He has served as a paraprofessional, special education teacher, an assistant principal, principal, lead partner and leadership consultant in his over 20 years of educational service.
